TO GET YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT BACK

 

1.  Do not violate terms of the lease.  (No subleasing

    without prior approval, etc.)

2.  Your lease expires at 12:00 noon on the final day

    of your lease.  Please vacate promptly so our cleaning

    and repair crews (if needed) can begin their work.

3.  Repair any damages you have made to the property.

4.  The house has been cleaned before you moved in and

    should be in comparable condition when you move out.

    This includes all appliances and plumbing fixtures (sinks,

    showers, stove and refrigerator). The floors should be swept

    and mopped or vacuumed (on carpeting), all surfaces wiped

    with a damp cloth, and there should be no trash or litter

    inside the house or out in the yard.

    It must be in MOVE-IN CONDITION for the next tenants.

5.  All personal belongings should be removed.

6.  NO DECALS should be adhered to any surfaces and NO HASPS

    or other hardware affixed to bedroom doors.

7.  The city will charge a fee for special trash collection

    if a large pile of discarded items is left outside at

    the end of your lease on any day EXCEPT for the regular

    trash day.  If a pile is left on an off day, you will

    be charged for the city's fee.

8.  Return your keys.

9.  Make sure all rent is paid.  Under no circumstances is

    your deposit to be used to cover any portion of rent.

10. If all the above items are complied with, we will be

    happy to refund your entire security deposit.

11. A check will be mailed to you within 30 days of

    termination of lease with an itemized list of damages

    and expenses (if necessary).  Please make sure we have your

    forwarding address if it has changed since filling in your

    application.
